Front Office Receptionist

At Olivia Hotels Collection, we are looking for an experienced Front Office Receptionist to join the team at Olivia Lisboa, our new hotel project in Lisbon.

We are looking for a hospitality professional who understands that exceptional service goes beyond procedures. Someone who knows how to anticipate needs, create genuine connections and turn every guest interaction into a memorable experience.

Your role

As part of our Front Office team, you will be one of the faces of Olivia Lisboa and an essential part of the guest journey.

You will:

• Welcome and engage with guests in a warm, professional and personalised manner.
• Deliver a seamless experience throughout the entire guest journey, from arrival to departure.
• Handle check-in and check-out with efficiency, discretion and attention to detail.
• Anticipate guest preferences and needs, offering thoughtful and personalised solutions.
• Build genuine relationships with guests and create memorable moments.
• Handle requests, feedback and challenging situations with confidence and professionalism.
• Work closely with all hotel departments to ensure a seamless and consistent guest experience.
• Identify opportunities to enhance the guest experience through upselling and personalised recommendations.
• Represent Olivia’s standards of service excellence, elegance and hospitality at every interaction.

What are we looking for?

• Previous experience in a Front Office position within a 4-star Superior or 5-star hotel is essential.
• Experience in luxury or upscale hospitality will be highly valued.
• A genuine passion for guest service and hospitality.
• Fluent or advanced English.
• Spanish and/or additional languages will be considered a strong advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A natural ability to anticipate guest needs and exceed expectations.
• Discretion, elegance, professionalism and attention to detail.
• A proactive, positive and solution-oriented mindset.
• Ability to remain composed and professional in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with a strong sense of responsibility and commitment to service excellence.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
