Freelance English to Canadian French (FRCA) Subtitle Translator

Job Description:

• Create Canadian French (FRCA) subtitles for video contents in English

Qualifications:

• Native or Native-like level of proficiency in English and Canadian French with a good command of both colloquial and written English and Canadian French.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in translation.
• Previous experience in translation or proofreading is preferred.
• Positive, can-do spirit, proactive, result-driven, and resourceful.
• Willing to learn new things and enjoy new challenges.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and within limited time constraints.

Conditions:

• This is a remote freelance position.
• Payment is made via wire transfer within 60 days of receiving the original invoice (non-negotiable).
• All applicants are required to participate in unpaid technical assessments to qualify.
• Selected candidates will be trained in using GTS Pro (our in-house subtitling tool) for English to Canadian French (FRCA) Subtitle Translation.
