We are a fast-growing Irish EV charging company helping to accelerate the transition to electric mobility. Following our recent expansion into the UK, we are entering an exciting new phase of growth and are strengthening our finance team to support the business as it scales.

As FP&A Accountant, you will work across our Irish and UK operations, providing analysis, insight and financial support to help the business understand performance and make better decisions.
The Role
As FP&A Accountant, you will sit at the intersection of finance and the wider business, supporting budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and commercial analysis across Ireland and the UK.
You will work closely with the Financial Controller, our CFO and operational teams to understand business performance, identify trends and opportunities, and translate financial data into clear insights.
Given the recent UK expansion, you will also have the opportunity to help develop the financial planning and reporting infrastructure for a growing international operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the preparation of monthly management accounts, budgets and forecasts for the Irish and UK businesses.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning, forecasting and decision-making.
- Prepare monthly variance analysis, identifying key drivers behind actual versus budget and forecast performance.
- Produce regular management reports and dashboards for senior management.
- Partner with commercial, operations and sales teams to understand financial performance and business drivers.
- Support the annual budgeting and long-term planning processes.
- Maintain rolling forecasts and regularly update financial assumptions based on business performance.
- Analyse revenue, costs, margins, cash flow and key operational KPIs.
- Provide financial analysis to support investment decisions, including EV charging infrastructure and network expansion.
- Support business cases and financial modelling for new products, customers, sites and market opportunities.
- Assist with monitoring the financial performance of the UK operation as it scales.
- Develop and improve reporting processes, models and financial controls.
- Identify opportunities to automate and streamline recurring reporting and analysis.Work closely with the accounting team to ensure management reporting is consistent with the underlying financial records.
- Support ad-hoc analysis and projects for the CFO, Finance Director and wider leadership team.
About You
- A recognised accounting qualification — ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
- Approximately 2–5 years’ experience in accounting, FP&A, audit, financial reporting or a related role.
- Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
- Excellent Excel skills and confidence working with financial models and large datasets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to turn financial information into clear, commercially relevant insights.
- Excellent attention to detail while maintaining an understanding of the bigger picture.
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to work with non-finance stakeholders.
- A proactive, hands-on approach and willingness to take ownership.
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-moving, changing environment.
Experience with Power BI, financial planning systems or ERP platforms would be advantageous.
