West Manchester – Hybrid 12 Month Fixed Term Contract Forge Talent are partnering with a fast-growing, private equity-backed business that has experienced significant growth in recent years, securing major national contracts and expanding its operations across the UK. Finance plays a central role in supporting this growth, providing insight, challenge and strategic guidance to the wider business. Due to maternity leave, the business is now looking to appoint an FP&A Senior Analyst on a 12-month fixed-term contract to support the FP&A function during a critical period of continued growth. This role offers excellent exposure to senior leadership, commercial teams and key financial decision-making. The Role Reporting to the FP&A Manager, the FP&A Senior Analyst will play an important role in supporting financial planning, modelling and performance analysis across the business. This is a hands‑on and commercially focused role, working closely with operational and commercial teams to provide insight into financial performance and support strategic decision‑making. You will also provide guidance and oversight to members of the FP&A analyst team. Key Responsibilities Support the annual budgeting, forecasting and long‑range planning processes Maintain and develop the three‑statement financial model Produce and enhance key stakeholder reporting including Board Packs, Lender Packs and Budget Packs Analyse contract profitability and margin performance, identifying risks and opportunities Deliver scenario modelling and ad hoc analysis for senior stakeholders Support group leverage and covenant calculations Partner with commercial and business development teams to model new contracts and pipeline opportunities Analyse working capital performance and cash drivers Provide direction and support to FP&A analysts within the team The Person Strong Excel and financial modelling capability xwzovoh Experience supporting forecasting, budgeting and business performance analysis Commercial mindset with the ability to translate numbers into meaningful insights Confident working with senior stakeholders across finance and operations Naturally inquisitive, able to challenge assumptions and understand the story behind the numbers Why Apply?
