Founding Engineer

The role We're hiring a Founding FullStack Engineer to build V1 products end to end. You'll work in a fast, handson environment, iterating quickly with customers to solve real clinical workflow problems. Key responsibilities: Own the product lifecycle end to end: design, build, test, deploy, and iterate.

Partner with founders on product vision, roadmap, and technical strategy. Architect scalable, secure systems across backend and frontend. Own cloud deployments; monitor reliability and performance.

Make pragmatic technical choices on frameworks, tooling, and best practices. Establish engineering standards and help hire and mentor the early team. Prototype and productionize LLM-powered features responsibly.

Ship quickly with customers; measure impact and refine. Hold a high quality bar while executing autonomously. Our tech stack: Turborepo (monorepo) Frontend Core app: React Native + Expo (Web, Android, iOS) Admin portal: Next.js Backend: NestJS Database: PostgreSQL Infrastructure: GCP AI: LangChain Who we're looking for Must haves: Expertise in TypeScript and React.

Proven experience building and scaling infrastructure. Hands-on with DevOps, CI/CD, and containers. Able to take products from 0→1, concept to production.

Startup mindset: bias to action, high ownership, impact focus. Interest in healthcare and motivation to improve patient outcomes. Inperson in the San Francisco Bay Area 3 days/week.

Nice to haves: Early startup or founder experience. Scaled an engineering team to 10+ with a strong culture. Shipped a production app using LLMs.

Experience in highly regulated environments.
