Formwork Engineer

Job Title: Design Engineer- Formwork Industry: Construction / Civil Engineering Location: Andheri (East) Experience Required: 2–5 years of experience in formwork design, civil engineering, or construction design. Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD or similar), strong understanding of drawings, and ability to manage deadlines preferred. Position Overview: We are looking for a Design Engineer – Formwork to join our Design team.

The role involves preparing accurate and timely formwork designs, supporting project and production requirements, and ensuring all outputs meet company standards and specifications. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, technically strong, and capable of working in a fast-paced project environment. Key Responsibilities: 1.

Policy and Protocol Adherence Follow company standards, design procedures, and guidelines Ensure compliance with project specifications and production constraints Maintain confidentiality of all design data and documentation 2. Design Delivery and Timelines Prepare formwork designs, drawings, and related documentation Deliver shell plans and drawings within agreed timelines Ensure accuracy, quality, and completeness of all design outputs 3. Coordination and Collaboration Work closely with Business Development and internal stakeholders Support drawing preparation, reviews, and submissions Communicate and escalate design issues, clashes, or constraints 4.

Design Tools and Documentation Use design software and tools effectively for all assigned tasks Maintain organized, accurate, and up-to-date design records Ensure proper documentation and version control 5. Quality and Continuous Improvement Ensure all designs meet company standards and project requirements Identify areas for improvement in design processes and workflows Contribute to enhancing efficiency and best practices 6. Authority & Responsibility Take ownership of accuracy, quality, and timeliness of work Manage workload based on project priorities and deadlines Follow procedures and escalate risks impacting quality, cost, or timelines 7.
