Food Service Worker - 2 hrs. per day (immediate opening)

Tea Area School District JOB DESCRIPTION JOB TITLE: Food Service/Kitchen Help REQUIREMENTS: A. Education Level: High School Diploma B. Experience Desired: One to three years quantity food preparation C.

Physical Requirements: Constant standing, hearing, hand-eye and mind-eye coordination; frequent repetitive motions with wrists, hands, fingers, bending over, stopping, holding and crouching REPORTS TO: Head Cook WORKS WITH: Head Cook, Business Manager, Superintendent ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES: Accurately identify reimbursable meals. Accurately charge meals to student accounts. Credit deposits to accounts.

Assist in cleaning and maintaining of kitchen facilities. Assist in preparing and serving food as needed. Appropriately operate all equipment as required.

Maintain accurate records of meals served and deposits made. Must have a working knowledge of basic math applications and computation skills. Performs other duties as assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS: A. Inside Climatic Environment - Occasionally subjected to cold temperatures below 32 degrees when removing or storing food in freezer. Often subjected to atmospheric conditions of odors and mists.

Hazards - Occasionally subjected to mechanical and electrical hazards. Caution also required to avoid potential for burns. D.

Work Year - This position is for a contract year to include all school days and preparation days prior to start of school and cleanup days at the completion of the school year.
