We’re Hiring: Flutter Developer Intern | TOGA Mobile App Development Company: AIRMAN Aeronautics Pvt. Ltd. Location: IIT Madras Research Park, Chennai Duration: 6 Months Work Mode: Hybrid Role Type: Internship Preferred Backgrounds: Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mobile App Development, Product Engineering AIRMAN Aeronautics is building technology platforms focused on aviation training, flight operations, and operational intelligence.
Our ecosystem includes: • TOGA, a pilot learning, logbook, and pre-flight planning platform • Skynet, a flight school and aviation operations management platform • Sierra AI, an AI-assisted maintenance and operational workflow system • XB70, a portable pilot flight computer and cockpit utility device We are looking for a Flutter Developer Intern to support the development of TOGA, AIRMAN’s mobile application designed for cadets, instructors, and pilots. This internship is suited for candidates interested in mobile engineering, aviation technology, AI-enabled learning systems, and product-focused application development. What You’ll Work On: • Building Flutter-based mobile interfaces for Android and iOS • Converting UI designs into responsive mobile application screens • Supporting study workflows, dashboards, quiz systems, and learning interfaces • Supporting flight planning, logbook, and training progress modules • Integrating REST APIs with AIRMAN’s backend systems • Handling loading states, error states, and asynchronous workflows • Building reusable widgets and scalable UI components • Supporting offline draft and local storage workflows • Collaborating with product, backend, design, and AI teams • Testing app behavior across Android and iOS environments • Supporting app performance optimization and navigation improvements This role sits across mobile engineering, aviation workflows, and product development.
Required Skills: • Understanding of Flutter and Dart fundamentals • Familiarity with Android and iOS application workflows • Experience building responsive mobile UI • Familiarity with REST APIs and JSON-based data handling • Understanding of state management concepts such as Riverpod, Bloc, Provider, or similar approaches • Familiarity with reusable widget development and structured code organization • Comfortable using Git and GitHub for version control • Problem-solving and debugging ability • Strong attention to UI quality, spacing, and responsiveness • Comfortable working in collaborative and fast-moving environments Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills: • Riverpod or Bloc architecture experience • Local storage solutions such as Hive, Isar, Drift, or SharedPreferences • Push notification integration exposure • Offline-first application workflows • Responsive design and mobile UI optimization • Exposure to App Store or Play Store deployment workflows • Experience building education, productivity, SaaS, or operational applications • Interest in aviation technology, AI, or learning platforms Who May Enjoy This Role: • Candidates interested in mobile product development • Individuals who enjoy structured problem-solving and UI implementation • Candidates interested in aviation technology and AI-enabled products • Developers interested in scalable application architecture and product workflows • Individuals interested in startup product environments Internship Details: • Internship duration: 6 months • Hybrid work model based out of IIT Madras Research Park, Chennai • Opportunity for a full-time role based on performance and business requirements Technical Assessment: Shortlisted candidates may receive a Flutter assessment based on a TOGA-related mobile workflow.
