Floor Manager
Shukette
Job Description
Shukette is a high-energy, perennially busy restaurant nestled in West Chelsea, defined by bold Middle Eastern flavors from its open kitchen, generous hospitality, and a dining room that hums with energy from the first seating to the last. The kitchen is led by Executive Chef and Partner Ayesha Nurdjaja, whose vibrant Eastern Mediterranean cuisine and warm, gracious approach to hospitality have earned her the 2025 IACP Trailblazer Award and multiple James Beard Award nominations, including being named a finalist for “Best Chef: New York State” in 2022 and again this year, 2026. Here, we’re building something joyful, flavorful, and deeply rooted in connection — a place where the energy is real, the food is bold, and the experience is meant to feel like a warm welcome.
Our menus are rooted in responsibly and locally sourced ingredients, with a strong focus on seasonality. Chef Ayesha brings a dynamic take on her favorite dishes, inspired by her extensive travels and culinary perspective. The hospitality team works hand in hand with the kitchen to bring this vision to life, creating an atmosphere that matches the food’s bold, vibrant energy.
