Luxor Staffing is hiring Fitter/Welders paying up to $29 per hour with variety of shifts available. Weekly pay, possible overtime, incentive and bonus programs, optional direct deposit, benefits from day 1 on the job and much more!

Job Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and work orders to fabricate and assemble structural steel components.
• Measure, lay out, cut, contour, bevel, position, align, and secure metal parts according to specifications.
• Use precision measuring tools to verify dimensions, angles, grooves, and gap allowances before and during assembly.
• Set up and operate welding equipment, including arc/gas welding processes, cutting torches, and carbon arc equipment to weld structural steel.
• Perform tack and structural welds, operate overhead cranes, maintain a clean work area, and follow all safety and environmental procedures.

Qualifications:

• 2–4 years of structural fitting and welding/fabrication experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, layouts, and work orders.
• Experience with structural steel fitting, measuring, cutting, beveling, tack welding, and final welding.
• Ability to pass employer-required welding/fitting performance or certification tests.
• Ability to safely work in a fabrication shop and perform physical duties including standing, walking, climbing, bending, stooping, and handling materials up to 45 lbs.
