With at least 6 years of relevant experience, this position enables you to engage in diverse projects across fisheries and ecological restoration.
Your proficiency with AutoCAD and design modeling will be instrumental as you work on structural designs and hydraulic analyses essential for project success. Professional licensure is required or a commitment to obtain it within a year. Key Responsibilities: β’ Lead structural designs for hydropower and fish passage β’ Perform detailed hydraulic analyses for engineering projects β’ Collaborate on engineering designs with team members β’ Develop technical drawings using 2D and 3D tools β’ Build relationships with regulatory bodies and biologists Requirements: β’ Licensed Professional Engineer or pursuing licensure β’ Minimum of 6 years in fisheries engineering β’ Proven experience in structural design and hydraulics β’ Proficient in AutoCAD, familiarity with Revit is a plus β’ Willingness to travel and possess a valid driverβs license Advance your career by contributing to sustainable fisheries projects at the forefront of environmental engineering in Halifax. #J-18808-Ljbffr
