Role Overview

We are looking for a FinOps Specialist to join our teams and support the financial management and optimization of cloud services across multiple product lines.


You will be responsible for driving FinOps best practices, improving cloud cost visibility, supporting budgeting and forecasting activities, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to maximize the value and efficiency of cloud investments while maintaining service quality.


What you will do

  • Implement FinOps strategies, governance models, and cloud cost management best practices aligned with organizational standards;
  • Collaborate with Product, Finance, Engineering, and Operations teams to support budgeting, forecasting, chargeback/recharge mechanisms, and financial planning processes;
  • Monitor, analyze, and optimize cloud consumption and costs across cloud platforms, identifying opportunities for savings and efficiency improvements;
  • Produce dashboards, reports, and actionable insights on cloud spending trends, performance, and optimization opportunities for key stakeholders;
  • Promote financial accountability and implement automation and tooling to enhance cloud cost monitoring, reporting, and optimization processes.


What you are like

  • Proficient in FinOps practices, cloud financial management, and cloud cost optimization;
  • Experienced in cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, and/or Google Cloud, including their pricing and billing models;
  • Knowledgeable in cloud operations, IT Asset Management, cost accounting, and financial governance processes;
  • Skilled in data analysis and capable of translating complex information into actionable recommendations and business insights;
  • Familiar with cloud cost management and optimization tools, including IBM Cloudability;
  • Strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
