Senior Compliance Associate LHH Recruitment Solutions (pka Parker+Lynch) is partnering with a highly stable, privately held financial services organization to identify a Financial Systems & Accounting Manager. This is a high-visibility role reporting directly to the CFO, with a clear long-term path toward broader leadership and eventual CFO succession for the right individual. This opportunity is ideal for a systems-savvy accounting professional who enjoys improving, scaling, and modernizing financial infrastructure while also remaining hands-on with core accounting responsibilities.

The role is intentionally flexible, with responsibilities open to adjustment based on candidate strengths and long-term potential. Position Overview This role will serve as a key partner to the CFO, owning financial systems, data integrity, and process improvement initiatives while supporting day-to-day accounting and financial operations. The initial focus will be on systems optimization and scalability, with increasing exposure to traditional accounting leadership and strategic finance over time.

Key Responsibilities Financial Systems & Process Improvement Own and enhance core financial systems and data flows across the organization Lead process improvement initiatives focused on automation, scalability, and reporting accuracy Act as the primary liaison between Finance, Operations, and Technology Evaluate, implement, and optimize financial and reporting tools as the organization grows Build dashboards, reporting, and analytics to support executive decision-making Accounting & Financial Operations Support month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements Assist with financial reporting, internal analysis, and management reporting Ensure GAAP compliance and strong internal controls Partner with and support a seasoned accounting team (approximately five professionals) Strategic & Leadership Exposure Work closely with the CFO on strategic initiatives, system-related projects, and long-term planning Gain increasing responsibility across GL accounting, analysis, and leadership functions Position to grow into broader finance leadership and long-term succession planning Qualifications Required Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5+ years of progressive accounting and financial systems mixed experience Strong understanding of US GAAP Advanced Excel skills; comfort working with large, data-driven environments Demonstrated ability to improve/implement/integrate systems using/surrounding Salesforce Preferred Experience within financial services, wealth management, broker-dealer, or investment environments under SEC and FINRA guidelines CPA Systems-oriented mindset with interest in continuous improvement Benefits Employer‑paid health insurance (medical, dental, vision, life, disability) Discretionary profit‑sharing contribution to 401(k) Discretionary year‑end bonus 401(k) with 1:1 match up to 5% Education, exam, and certification reimbursement (Series exams, CFP®, CIMA®, conferences) Hybrid WFH Onsite gym, café, and onsite childcare If you are interested in this job or other Accounting and Finance career opportunities from LHH Recruitment Solutions (pka Parker + Lynch), please email Kyle Cheverko at [email protected], or visit our website at Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled To read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please visit .
