Financial Reporting Manager

Artemis Human Capital is delighted to be working exclusively with a scaling Irish business based in Monaghan to recruit a Financial Reporting Manager to undertake a broad role to include group reporting, external financial statements, and board-level insights across a growing, multi-entity business.

\n

Reporting to the Group Finance Director, the Financial Reporting Manger will be accountable for the development and management of the Finance function.

The Role\n

\n
• Management and supervision of the month end close processes
\n
• In depth analysis and reporting of KPI’s vs forecast.
\n
• Development of automated reporting using Power BI and Power Query
\n
• Developing and continually improving financial processes and systems development.
\n
• Consolidate data from finance and operational systems to ensure consistent reporting
\n
• Management and oversight of the finance team.
\n
• Preparation of financial statements
\n
• Supporting the external audit process
\n
• Implementing and upholding internal controls and governance
\n

The Person\n

\n
• Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
\n
• At least 5 years’ experience in audit, preferably in a Big 4 firm.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex financial information to non-finance professionals..
\n
• Ability to work to deadlines within a fast paced and challenging environment.
\n
• Strong commercial acumen
\n
