Job DescriptionFinancial Reporting Accountant - UPMC Sports Surgery Clinic, Dublin Location: Swift Square One Job type: Permanent Overview of role: UPMC Sports Surgery Clinic are currently recruiting for the role of Financial Reporting Accountant to join the Finance Department. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Deliver timely and accurate financial reporting, managing month-end close processes and supporting finance initiatives. Complete month-end close, ensuring accuracy and identifying opportunities for process improvement.
Support the preparation and delivery of annual statutory financial statements. Maintain accruals and prepayments schedules. Maintain the fixed asset register and perform depreciation calculations.
Perform stock take checks and review monthly inventory adjustments. Prepare and post manual journals to the general ledger. Complete balance sheet reconciliations in line with period-end deadlines.
Partner with operational teams to ensure accuracy of general ledger inputs. Proactively identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance financial control. Qualifications & Experience: Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA). 1-3 years post qualification experience.
Strong understanding of Irish GAAP. Strong systems and data capability (advantageous). Excellent communications and stakeholder management.
Experience in healthcare preferred. Flexible, with the ability to manage changing priorities. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
