Financial Accountant (Manufacturing)

Our client, a well established manufacturing business in Melbourne's North West, is seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join their finance team on a permanent basis.

Description

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
• Manage month-end and year-end processes
• Support budgeting, forecasting and cash flow reporting across the business
• Partner with operational and commercial stakeholders to provide financial insight and analysis
• Assist with the implementation of process, systems and reporting improvements
• Liaise with external auditors and manage audit requirements
• Provide guidance and support to junior finance team members

Profile

A successful Financial Accountant should have:

• CA/CPA qualified or actively working towards completion
• 3+ years' experience in a similar Financial Accountant role
• Manufacturing, automotive or FMCG industry experience (highly regarded)
• Proficient in Excel and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle or similar is advantageous)
• A proactive, hands on approach with strong attention to detail
• Confident stakeholder communication skills
