Financial Accountant

We are supporting an established aircraft leasing platform in the search for a Financial Accountant to join its finance function in Ireland. This 12 month initial contract is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant looking to broaden their experience within the aviation finance sector, working across a varied portfolio in a collaborative and fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Support monthly and quarterly financial reporting, reconciliations and period-end close activities across multiple entities.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow reporting and financial analysis to support business planning.
• Contribute to audit preparation, statutory reporting and liaison with internal and external stakeholders.
• Produce financial reports, dashboards and management information while identifying opportunities to improve systems and processes.
• Work closely with colleagues across the business to investigate variances and support ongoing finance activities.

Requirements

• Professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with relevant post-qualification experience.
• Min 2-3 years' experience in aviation
• Strong background in financial reporting, budgeting and accounting systems within a dynamic environment.
• Advanced Excel skills with excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
