Financial Accountant

We’re working with a successful and growing Medical Device business to recruit a key finance professional who will play an important role across accounting, manufacturing, costing and operational reporting.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to have a genuine impact on financial and operational performance, working closely with production and operational teams to improve cost control, stock accuracy and business reporting.

What you’ll be doing

• Managing daily bank reconciliations and finance administration
• Preparing and presenting financial analysis
• Production costing, cost analysis and productivity reporting
• Variance analysis and inventory reconciliations
• Supporting month-end reporting and management accounts
• Working with production teams to improve cost control and stock accuracy
• Preparing budgets and ongoing forecasts

What we’re looking for

• Qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline
• Experience in a Management Accountant, Cost Accountant, Assistant Accountant or similar position
• Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel
• Manufacturing or stock-intensive experience is advantageous
• Familiarity with ERP/accounting systems is desirable
