Location: Kraków, Małopolskie, PL

We are looking for an experienced finance leader who is ready to lead a team of accounting experts, share their expertise and drive complex, high-impact initiatives. Your leadership and strong accounting background could be just what we are looking for.

If it sounds like you, why don’t you join Lundbeck in Krakow, a certified Great Place to Work in, and get your brain in the game?

Your new role – why is this a great opportunity?

As Finance Team Manager you will lead a team of experienced finance professionals and take responsibility for the effective delivery of accounting-to-reporting processes, including financial, statutory and tax reporting. You will play an important role in shaping and executing the A2R strategy, while driving complex projects, improvements and transformation initiatives.

You will partner with Finance Directors, Controllers, HQ, GBS Functional Managers and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality reporting, compliance and effective internal controls. At the same time, you will develop your team, improve ways of working and contribute to the wider GBS strategy, giving you an opportunity to make an impact beyond your immediate area of responsibility.

Your future team

As our Finance Team Manager, you will lead a team of around 10 finance professionals, including Financial Controllers and Chief Accountants.

The team is part of the A2R department in GBS Krakow, responsible for accounting as well as group, statutory and tax reporting processes for selected entities . You will work across teams, processes, systems and functions, helping us strengthen collaboration and continuously improve how we operate.

We are working on bold, high-profile initiatives aimed at making us a leading finance organization, and you will have an important role in bringing people together around our shared goals.

What you bring to the team

You bring solid finance and accounting expertise combined with proven experience in leading experienced professionals. To succeed in this role, we expect you to have:

  • At least 8 years of combined accounting and finance experience, including experience in financial controlling, statutory financial statements and direct/indirect tax reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of International Accounting Standards and taxation, supported by a university degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in managing and developing effective teams of experienced finance professionals and managing senior stakeholders.
  • Experience working with SAP, BW/BI and MS Office.

You are a collaborative and engaging leader who can understand what motivates people, develop their capabilities and create energy around common goals.

You combine strong analytical and organizational skills with sound judgement and ownership. You are comfortable making timely decisions, solving complex problems with limited guidance and managing changing priorities.

You also bring a business-partner mindset: you communicate effectively with stakeholders with different priorities and proactively look for opportunities to improve processes and ways of working.
