Finance Systems Accountant

We're looking for a technically minded Finance Systems Accountant to join our team in a newly created role. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys working across finance, systems and business transformation, and wants to build valuable experience delivering projects, improving processes and driving meaningful change.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll act as the key link between Finance, Shared Services, Information Systems (IS) and business stakeholders, ensuring finance systems operate effectively, data integrity is maintained, and business requirements are translated into practical and sustainable solutions.

About the Role

Projects & Change Management

Manage finance transformation initiatives and system enhancement projects across local and regional operations

Coordinate UAT for system upgrades, enhancements and new implementations

Prepare testing scenarios, validate business requirements and support successful project delivery

Partner with regional and global stakeholders on strategic finance projects

Identify opportunities for process optimisation, automation and continuous improvement

Finance Systems Support & Administration

Maintain finance system configurations, master data and reporting structures

Manage user access, workflow governance and system controls

Monitor system interfaces and investigate integration issues

Provide troubleshooting support and issue resolution for finance system users

Stakeholder Engagement & Training

Act as the primary liaison between Finance, Shared Services and IS teams

Build strong relationships with local, regional and global stakeholders

Deliver user training and maintain system documentation and support materials

Promote best practices and drive adoption of finance systems across the organisation

About You

Degree qualification in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems or a related field

Strong understanding of accounting principles and finance operations

Experience supporting ERP systems within a finance environment

Demonstrated success delivering system implementations, enhancements or business process improvement initiatives

Strong analytical, problem-solving and project management capabilities

Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
