Job Description
Our client is looking for a Financial Analyst for 6 months with potential to extend. Perform detailed quantitative and qualitative analysis on financial, operational, and transactional data to support business objectives and develop practical recommendations; Perform reconciliations across subledgers and general ledger accounts, investigate discrepancies, and resolve variances in a timely manner; Participate in period-end activities, including reconciliations, reporting, and financial control assessments supporting overall financial integrity; Support day-to-day Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) activities, including invoice processing, payment execution, billing, collections, and cash application, consistent with standard financial processes such as invoice validation and payment management; Execute data entry, validation, and maintenance of vendor and customer master data, ensuring completeness and accuracy of financial records; Contribute to system enhancements, automation initiatives, and implementation of new financial interfaces, including development of test scripts, execution of testing, and documentation of controls and processes; Research and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce manual effort, and strengthen controls; Provide guidance and support to team members on financial processes, tools, policies, and procedures to improve operational effectiveness; Accounting designation completed or in progress is an asset but not mandatory. Strong understanding of financial operations, including invoicing, payments, collections, and reconciliation processes; SAP S/4HANA modules such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger) and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools; Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify issues, and provide actionable recommendations; Experience supporting Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable processes, including transaction processing, reconciliations, and financial analysis; Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy, controls, and risk mitigation; Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.

The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company’s 401(k) retirement plan.
