The Finance & Operations Manageris a multifaceted role seamlessly integrating the financial management and operational efficiency aspects of the business. This position is responsible for overseeing the financial health of the company, ensuring that all financial operations, from budgeting and forecasting to reporting, are conducted with precision and integrity. Simultaneously, the role demands a keen oversight of the companys operations, aiming to streamline processes, enhance productivity, and ultimately, drive sustainable growth.

By balancing these core areas, the Finance & Operations Manager ensures the organization remains financially robust and operationally agile, ready to adapt to the ever-changing business landscape. The role will report to the CEO, and will this position will manage the Operations' Customer Success Manager and Program Manager. What youll be doing: Work with a 3rd party accounting firm to ensure timely month-end close and statutory and tax filing.

Oversee the preparation and management of the organizations financial budget, ensuring accurate forecasting and efficient allocation of resources. Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures to ensure compliance with accounting standards and legal requirements. Coordinate the procurement process, including vendor selection and contract negotiation, to optimize cost-effectiveness and supply chain efficiency.

Manage the payroll system, ensuring timely and accurate payment to employees, while also handling related tax and benefit obligations. Lead the development and implementation of operational strategies to improve productivity, quality, and customer service standards. Analyze financial reports and operational data to identify trends, forecast future needs, and advise on strategic decisions.

Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration to streamline operations, identifying bottlenecks and implementing solutions to enhance overall organizational performance. Oversee facility management, including maintenance, safety protocols, and space optimization, to ensure a productive work environment. What you bring to the table: Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance REQUIRED: 5+ years of related experience in Accounting/Finance Ability to manage multiple projects and meeting deadlines in a fast paced work environment Excellent G-Sheet, Microsoft Excel & related Suite experience Equipped with advanced software tools for financial analysis, project management, and communication, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in their multifaceted role Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Bonus Points Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or MBA Experience with Quickbooks Online Advancement Potential This role can ascend to higher executive roles such as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) or Chief Operations Officer (COO) based on the growth and business needs of Mason America.
