Finance Manager

About the Role We are looking for a sharp, hands-on Finance Manager to drive day-to-day finance operations and support strategic decision-making at Meolaa. This is a role for someone who is equally comfortable closing the books as they are building a model that informs a pricing decision. You will work closely with the Head of Finance and across brand and operations teams to keep the financial engine running tight.

What You'll Own Accounting & Books Own monthly book closures — accuracy, timeliness, and completeness Manage AP/AR, vendor payments, and reconciliations Coordinate with external accountants/auditors for statutory compliance — GST, TDS, ROC Maintain clean, audit-ready financial records across entities and brands FP&A Support Support the AOP and rolling forecast process — build and update models Track actuals vs. budget and flag variances with clear explanations Build brand-level and channel-level P&L views Support monthly business review (MBR) and board reporting with data and analysis Treasury & Cash Management Manage day-to-day cash flow — payments, collections, and runway tracking Maintain banking relationships and oversee fund transfers Ensure timely payroll funding and vendor payment cycles Business Partnering Work with brand, supply chain, and growth teams on unit economics and cost analysis Support evaluation of new initiatives, vendor contracts, and pricing decisions with financial inputs Build ad hoc analyses and business cases as needed Process & Systems Improve financial processes and controls as the company scales Own or support implementation of accounting/ERP tools Ensure documentation and SOPs are in place for key finance workflows Who You Are 2–5 years of experience in finance, ideally with a mix of accounting and FP&A exposure CA / CA is a must Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills — you build models, not just fill templates Comfortable with ambiguity and owning processes that aren't fully defined yet High attention to detail — books need to be clean, always Prior experience in D2C, FMCG, or startup environments is a strong plus High ownership, low ego, gets-things-done attitude Why This Role Broad exposure across accounting, FP&A, and business partnering Work closely with the Head of Finance and Founders Build and shape finance processes from the ground up Competitive compensation with room to grow as the company scales Want to be notified when Claude responds?Notify
