The role The post holder will support the Head of Finance Services in ensuring the efficient day to day running of the finance function through accurate accounting records, operational controls and financial reporting. This role is critical to ensuring that finance systems and processes operate effectively, support business objectives, and meet all relevant statutory and regulatory requirements. We're looking for people who at the closing date have : Essential criteria Part or qualified member of one of the following professional bodies: - The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants - Chartered Accountants Ireland - The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants - The Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy A minimum of 3 years practical experience of operating an accounting package to final Trial Balance and management accounts stage.

Experience of payroll processing or management. A high level of knowledge and experience in the use of Microsoft Office. Ability to work flexibly, conscientiously and use own initiative to meet deadlines.

Excellent organisational and communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyse financial information effectively. A full current driving licence and access to a car, or alternative travelling proposals in respect of applicants with a disability who cannot hold a licence.
