Finance Analyst - Energy & Infrastructure

The Finance Analyst will play a key role in supporting financial operations and providing accurate analysis to aid decision-making in the energy and natural resources industry. This permanent role is ideal for individuals with 1-2 years of experience working across transactional finance that are looking to up-skill in a more engaging, commercial finance role. The company is heavily acquisition lead, utilising a variety of modern tools and technology to speed up their reporting processes. Description Prepare detailed financial reports and analysis to support business decisions. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.

Monitor and evaluate financial performance against key metrics. Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.

Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and recommendations. Identify opportunities for cost‑saving and process improvements. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation.

Profile A successful Finance Analyst should have: A strong educational background in accounting, finance, or a related field. 1-2 years of experience in an entry-level finance and accounting role. Demonstrable experience of working within transactional finance. An eye for commercial finance, ability to identify potential trends and opportunities.

Strong Excel skills. A demonstrable interest in using AI and other reporting tools to innovate processes. Excellent attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
