Responsibilities : Develop a holistic understanding of the flow of the different categories of data entering the accounting system. Ensure both automated and manual transactions are correctly mapped in the accounting systems. Maintain data integrity by regularly verifying the data quality in the accounting system.

Run a range of reports and test the quality of the data in the reporting. Over time develop a subject matter expertise of the data in the accounting system. Dynamically assist with credit controls, managing the debt agreements for company borrowings and closely tracking and collecting debt owed to the company by customers.

Monitor and improve company policies and internal controls finance processes, especially spending controls to identify cost escalation, to improve efficiency. Contribute as required towards specific tasks relating to Stock Inventory Accounting & Management. Ensure regular and timely preparation of tax returns (VAT, GST, TDS) and accountancy related filings, closely working with the auditors and senior manager.

Contribute towards Ad-Hoc Projects as determined by the finance team. Who will love this role: We see this individual as a Junior Analyst spirited to work diligently in a start up environment and can bring the below skills and experience : Bachelors Degree and Pursuing Certifications in Accounting or Finance Fresher / Minimum of 0-2 years of experience in one or many areas of finance such as operational finance, credit control, deep dive financial analysis, cost management etc. QuickBooks / Zoho Books / Xero / Other Digital Accounting systems experience required.

Strong Excel skills is also required. Must be a self-starter and can manage their tasks independently without supervision. Must be naturally good at solving problems and be a team player.

Display good communication, analytical, critical-thinking, and presentation skills. Must have a high degree of accuracy with strong attention to detail. Well organized with an ability to manage multiple projects with strict deadlines Digital B2B or Ecommerce experience is a plus.
