Field Services Engineer

Overview Our client is seeking Field Service Engineers to support data center and commercial power distribution projects. Openings are available for both entry-level and experienced engineers. This range is provided by TRC Talent Solutions.

Locations: Chicago, IL Base pay range $70,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr Responsibilities Install, test, troubleshoot, and commission low- and medium-voltage distribution equipment (480V–38kV). Support and resolve punch list and warranty issues at customer sites.

Diagnose electrical and control circuit issues; provide hands-on service. Travel nationally (approx. 80%); extended projects with return home every 3–4 weeks. Document service activities and provide feedback for quality improvements.

Experienced: Field service background with LV/MV distribution equipment. Strong communication, flexibility, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to read schematics and work independently in the field. Preferred Backgrounds Experience with ABB, GE, Eaton, SEL, Schneider, Honeywell, ASCO, Hitachi, Siemens, Shermco, RMS Energy, Regal Rexnord, or NETA testing firms is a plus.
