Field Services Engineer

Job Title: Field Service Engineer – Port Handling Equipment (Erection & Commissioning) Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer for the Erection, Commissioning, Maintenance, and Troubleshooting of heavy-duty port handling equipment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for site installation, operational testing, preventive maintenance, and technical support of various material handling systems used in ports, terminals, and maritime operations. Key Responsibilities Execute erection, installation, commissioning, and start-up activities for port handling and material handling equipment.

Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance to ensure maximum equipment availability and reliability. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and control system issues . Conduct performance testing, inspections, and system optimization activities.

Coordinate with customers, contractors, and project teams during commissioning and service activities. Ensure compliance with safety standards, site regulations, and quality procedures. Prepare technical reports, service documentation, and maintenance records.

Provide on-site technical support and customer training when required. Equipment Exposure Ship Loaders & Ship Unloaders Mobile Harbour Cranes Conveyor Systems & Bulk Material Handling Systems Jetty & Port Terminal Equipment Barge Unloaders Stackers, Reclaimers, and Auxiliary Port Equipment Hydraulic, Electrical, and PLC-based Control Systems Desired Candidate Profile Experience in Port Handling Equipment, Bulk Material Handling, Marine, or Heavy Engineering Industry . Strong knowledge of Erection & Commissioning, Maintenance, and Troubleshooting of heavy equipment.

Ability to work independently at project sites and port locations. Willingness to travel extensively across domestic and international project locations. Understanding of safety practices and site management procedures.
