An exciting opportunity to join a globally recognisable construction equipment manufacturer as their first dedicated Service Engineer in the Benelux region. This is a key hire and a genuine ground‑floor position, offering the chance to help establish and grow the company’s after‑sales and technical support presence across the Netherlands and Belgium.
Working closely with dealers, customers, and international teams, you’ll play a critical role in delivering high‑quality field service support for excavators and wheel loaders throughout the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain excavators and wheel loaders at customer and dealer sites
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic faults
- Carry out scheduled maintenance, inspections, and emergency breakdown support
- Advise customers on machine operation, preventative maintenance, and spare parts
- Support warranty claims and technical reporting in coordination with the manufacturer
- Build strong relationships with dealers and end users across the Benelux market
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience with excavators and/or wheel loaders (essential)
- Strong diagnostic skills across mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic systems
- Fluent English communication skills (essential) for both internal and external interactions
- Dutch or French language skills are highly advantageous
- Based in the Netherlands or Belgium
- Comfortable with frequent travel across the Benelux region in a field‑based role
- Independent, customer‑focused, and technically driven mindset
