Overview
In this role, you drive sales and customer success for Alfa Laval’s Ocean Division across the UK & Ireland, focusing on Scotland and Northern England. You’ll be a first point of contact, nurture key accounts, and shape value-based solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams. The position offers the chance to influence growth through frame/fleet agreements and strategic customer engagement.
You’ll work in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial culture focused on sustainable resources and global opportunities.

- Direct sales ownership for assigned accounts from inquiry to order
- Generate and nurture leads, converting them into orders
- Grow and develop assigned accounts
- Drive and own frame/fleet agreements for efficiency and growth
- Collaborate with Business Development, P&A and Business Unit to expand the business
- Engage with the market through regular in-person customer interactions
- Follow established sales processes to promote Alfa Laval products and services
- Develop value-based quotes and highlight unique selling points
- Follow up on quotes to ensure value alignment with customer needs
- Provide direct support to customers during quotation
- Conduct regular account reviews and monitor competitor activity
- Work cross-functionally to optimize sales efficiency and customer experience
- Utilise CRM and other tools to support the sales process and decision-making
- Commercial or Merchant Marine knowledge or related equipment familiarity
- Experience in field sales, account management or similar customer-facing role
- High digital competence including frequent use of CRM and digital communication tools
- Ability to translate customer needs into value-based solutions
- Excellent interpersonal and senior-level communication skills
- Strong business acumen and attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate across teams to achieve sales goals
- Structured approach to tasks and priorities
- Willingness to travel within the UK & Ireland
- Engineering-related technical education would be a benefit
