Role Description This is a part-time hybrid role based in Kolkata for a Fashion Designer - Consultant. The Fashion Designer - Consultant will oversee the conceptualization and creation of new designs, ensure garments meet the highest standards of quality and fit, and collaborate with both clients and production teams to develop unique, tailored ensembles. The role also involves expertise in premium textile selection, embroidery design, and staying updated on current fashion trends while infusing heritage aesthetics into contemporary collections.

Qualifications Strong expertise in Fashion Design and an understanding of current trends Proven experience with Embroidery and Textiles, specifically in ethnic wear Knowledge of Fitting and garment construction to ensure quality and comfort A creative mind with a keen eye for detail and craftsmanship Effective communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions and team collaboration Ability to work on-site and manage projects in a fast-paced, client-oriented environment Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field is preferred Previous experience in ethnic or occasion wear design is a plus
