Job Summary: The Facilities Manager is responsible for the safe, reliable, and compliant operation of all building infrastructure, utilities, and facility systems supporting a high-precision quartz manufacturing operation. This role ensures uninterrupted manufacturing through effective management of cleanroom environments, critical utilities, preventative maintenance programs, and regulatory compliance in an aerospace-grade production facility. The Facilities Manager partners closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to maintain operational readiness while supporting capacity growth, capital expansion, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities: Maintenance & Operations: Developing, scheduling, and tracking preventative maintenance for building systems (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, electrical) to maximize equipment lifespan. Vendor Management: Bidding out, negotiating, and overseeing third‑party contractors for repairs, landscaping, and maintenance, and checking completed work for quality. Safety & Compliance: Ensuring the facility meets local, state, and environmental codes and regulations, including fire safety and occupational health standards.

Budgeting: Developing and monitoring facility‑related expenses, including maintenance, repairs, and energy consumption, while implementing cost‑saving initiatives. Project Coordination: Managing office renovations, space planning, and site improvements. Security: Overseeing security teams, access control systems, and emergency preparedness/response plans.

Minimum Qualifications: Experience: 5+ years in facility management, maintenance, or property management. Experience supporting aerospace, semiconductor, or cleanroom manufacturing operations. Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and utility systems.

Experience managing contractors and capital projects. Minimum Education Requirements: Education: Bachelor's degree in facilities management, engineering, business, or a related field. Preferred Skills: Experience supporting inertial sensors, MEMS, optics, or quartz‑based manufacturing.

Knowledge of cleanroom standards (ISO 14644). Professional certifications (i.e., CFM, PE, or equivalent).
