We are seeking a highly skilled Fitter & Welder to join our team, a role critical to transforming raw materials into high-quality assemblies that drive our advanced manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Optimize assembly and welding sequences by thoroughly reviewing designs and prints.
• Prepare materials with precision, including grinding, beveling, de-scaling, and cleaning.
• Accurately fit and secure all components to meet required specifications.
• Execute precise welding operations, ensuring correct amounts and configurations of welds.
• Conduct thorough inspection, cleaning, and finish grinding of all welded areas.
• Uphold all safety rules and regulations to maintain a secure work environment.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• 7+ years of proven experience in a fabrication role.
• Proficiency in MIG welding for both steel and aluminum; TIG welding experience is a valuable asset.
• Skilled in plasma and torch cutting techniques.
• Competence in operating various machines such as saws, drill presses, and milling machines.
• Ability to safely and effectively operate cranes and lift trucks.
• Experience with fabrications for Special Machine and Automation Frames, Enclosures and Guarding, and Machine and Fixture Bases is an asset.
• Strong reading comprehension for technical documents and blueprints.
• Demonstrated problem-solving, time management, and organizational abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Exceptional attention to detail, commitment to quality workmanship, and neatness.
• Minimum High School diploma; Technical School Graduate or equivalent industrial manufacturing experience preferred.
• CWB or other relevant welding certifications are a plus.
