Job Description Job Description We’re opening a brand-new Residence Inn in Wilmington, Delaware, designed to deliver an elevated extended-stay experience. In addition to our modern accommodations, the property will feature a vibrant, guest-focused beer garden , creating a unique social hub for both travelers and the local community. The Food & Beverage Manager will oversee all aspects of the hotel’s F&B operations, including breakfast service, evening offerings, and the signature beer garden.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a pre-opening environment, enjoys building teams, and has a passion for creating memorable guest experiences. Key Responsibilities Lead the pre-opening setup of all F&B operations, including menu development, vendor selection, and operational procedures Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing F&B team Manage daily operations for: Complimentary breakfast service Evening social hours Full-service outdoor beer garden Curate and maintain a compelling beer, wine, and light fare program Ensure exceptional guest service standards aligned with brand expectations Oversee inventory, cost control, and budgeting to meet financial goals Maintain compliance with health, safety, and alcohol service regulations Collaborate with hotel leadership on events, promotions, and community engagement Qualifications 3+ years of Food & Beverage leadership experience (hotel experience preferred) Pre-opening experience strongly preferred Strong knowledge of beer programs, craft selections, and outdoor service concepts Proven leadership and team-building skills Solid financial acumen (P&L, cost controls, forecasting) Excellent communication and organizational abilities Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
