Experienced Project Engineer Needed Winnipeg

Join VARO Benelux as a Project Engineer managing critical CAPEX projects across terminals. Your role encompasses the full project lifecycle, focusing on safety, budget, and quality standards. You will execute and oversee modification and expansion projects from concept to handover, ensuring compliance with safety and HSEQ requirements.

Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and suppliers, you will drive continuous improvement in engineering processes and methodologies while adhering to VARO's standards. Key Responsibilities Manage modification and expansion projects independently Coordinate procurement, construction, and commissioning phases Develop and monitor project schedules and budgets Report on project progress, KPIs, and risk assessments Oversee contractor performance and ensure compliance Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, or related engineering At least 5 years in industrial sectors like oil & gas Experience in managing technical CAPEX projects Knowledge of safety standards and reporting methodologies Proficiency in Dutch and English, both written and verbal Bring your expertise as a Project Engineer to VARO Benelux and lead critical projects towards successful completion. #J-18808-Ljbffr
