Job Description

Executive Assistant – London

The best EAs make the complicated look easy. This is one of those roles.

We are looking for an exceptional Executive Assistant to support a the deputy CEO of a highly professional global business.

This is a proper, hands-on EA role. No big ego, no overcomplicating things and definitely no waiting to be told what to do. We need someone who is switched on, highly organised and naturally gets things done.

You’ll be managing complex diaries, coordinating international travel, arranging meetings, handling correspondence, preparing documents and presentations, processing expenses and generally making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. You’ll be trusted with confidential information and will need excellent judgement and discretion.

What we’re looking for

  • 3–4+ years’ solid EA experience, supporting senior executives in a demanding environment.
  • Exceptionally organised with brilliant attention to detail – you notice the small things before they become big things.
  • A genuine can-do attitude. You see a problem and work out the solution rather than bringing it back to someone else.
  • High emotional intelligence – you read the room, understand different personalities and know when to push, when to pause and when to simply get on with it.
  • Low ego and high standards. Happy to do the nuts and bolts of the job and take pride in doing them exceptionally well.
  • Naturally warm, approachable and professional, with a good sense of humour.
  • Someone who can handle pressure, shifting priorities and last-minute changes without drama.
  • A confident communicator who can deal comfortably with senior stakeholders and people at every level.
  • Discreet, trustworthy and commercially aware, with excellent judgement.
  • Someone who is proactive, anticipates what is needed next and doesn't require hand-holding.
  • Strong Microsoft Office and particularly advanced Outlook skills.

The personality matters

We are looking for the best of the best, but that doesn't necessarily mean the person with the biggest job title.

We want someone sharp, grounded, personable and incredibly capable. Someone who takes pride in being the person everyone can rely on. You’ll need confidence without arrogance, resilience without being hard work, and the emotional intelligence to operate around senior people with complete professionalism.

If you are the kind of person who thinks “leave it with me” and actually means it, we’d love to hear from you.
