Job Description

Title: Exchange Senior Systems Administrator (Messaging) Location: Atlanta, GA - hybrid Anticipated Duration: 3+ month Contract to Hire Responsibilities: Support and maintain messaging infrastructure Troubleshoot complex messaging issues and perform root cause analysis. Administer and support Microsoft Exchange Server and Exchange Online environments. Administer Proofpoint email security solutions including TRAP, TAP, EFD, SER, and POD.

Develop automation and scripting solutions to improve operational efficiency using PowerShell and other tools. Participate in on‑call support for critical messaging systems. Collaborate with various teams to support incident resolution and operational improvements.

Requirements: Experience administering Microsoft Exchange Server and Exchange Online in hybrid environments. Hands‑on experience with Proofpoint technologies. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Working knowledge of PowerShell scripting and familiarity with APIs or coding concepts. Proven ability to act as a subject matter expert in messaging. Preferred Experience: Familiarity with email security best practices, phishing defense, and incident response.

Experience improving monitoring, alerting, and reporting for messaging platforms. Mentoring or guidance experience for junior administrators. The hourly pay rate range for this position is $50.00 to $58.00 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
