Job Description

Responsibilities Be the local Events leader in North America, partnering with senior GTM stakeholders to refine the value proposition. Manage, coach, and develop a team of three senior event sales specialists, including weekly 1:1 meetings and engagement initiatives. Recruit, onboard, and coach a world‑class event sales team focused on continuous skill development.

Act as a consultant to direct reports on customer escalations and complex operational challenges. Own a personal book of business centered on the largest and most complex NAM customers, leading high‑value events end‑to‑end. Balance a 50/50 manager/individual contributor split by managing time ruthlessly and prioritizing without dropping the ball.

Proactively identify gaps or opportunities to improve processes, surface insights to the Head of Event Sales, and agree on change initiatives. Quickly land changes with the NAM team, sharing feedback to iterate fast. Partner with senior GTM leaders, ensuring strong collaboration and buy‑in with account managers and sales teams.

Establish robust processes to capture customer feedback, identify key insights, drive improvement initiatives, and track impact. Share best practices and learnings with the Head of Event Sales, Product Lead, and GM to promote shared learnings across the global team. Identify and surface nuances in the NAM market, working with Builders to shape product and lead a tailored approach.

Qualifications 10+ years in Event Sales, MICE, Group Travel, or related sales roles. Proven sales leadership experience with a track record of achieving targets personally and through a team. People‑management experience with the ability to engage and motivate others.

Deep understanding of the North American events market, customer needs, and stakeholder requirements. Highly organized with strong time‑management skills, able to hold a full personal pipeline while managing a team. Proactive, persistent, resilient attitude with a humble, scrappy, get‑it‑done mindset.

Comfortable managing competing priorities and switching context quickly. Fluent written and spoken English; hands‑on experience creating presentations and engaging teams and stakeholders. Data‑driven mindset with the ability to analyse and interpret performance metrics.

Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills. Compensation Salary range: $102,000 – $120,000. Variable earnings: $25,000 on‑target.
