Event Bartender

The AC Hotel Greenville, is looking for an experienced, high-energy Event Bartender to join our team in a dynamic event venue setting. This role supports a variety of events including weddings, banquets, concerts, corporate functions, and private parties. Bartenders are responsible for delivering exceptional guest service, preparing beverages efficiently, and maintaining a clean and professional bar area throughout the event.

Key Responsibilities: Set up bar stations prior to each event based on event needs and bar service package Prepare and serve beer, wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages in a fast-paced environment Greet and interact with guests in a friendly, engaging, and professional manner Follow all alcohol service and venue compliance policies, including checking IDs Monitor alcohol consumption and respond appropriately to guests showing signs of intoxication Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar areas throughout the event Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately; follow event-specific procedures for drink tickets or hosted bars Assist with post-event breakdown, inventory, and restocking Collaborate with banquet captains, floor staff, and security to ensure smooth guest experience Adapt quickly to changing event dynamics and guest flow Qualifications: 1 year bartending experience in high-volume events, banquets, or entertainment venues Familiarity with standard cocktails, beer, wine, and event-style bar packages Ability to work under pressure and stay organized during peak service Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills Must be of legal age to serve alcohol TIPS or equivalent alcohol service certification preferred Must be able to lift 40 lbs and stand for extended periods Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays Preferred Qualities: Positive, team-oriented mindset Strong sense of urgency and professionalism Experience in fast-paced, guest-facing roles Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor event environments Auro Hotels is an Equal Employment Opportunity and E-Verify Employer.
