ETL Developer

Job Description We are looking for an experienced Ab Initio ETL Developer with strong expertise in data engineering, ETL development, and performance optimization. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Ab Initio tools, Python-based data processing, and working with large-scale datasets in an enterprise environment Required Skills & Qualifications Minimum 6 years of experienc e in Ab Initio development Strong expertise in ETL design and development using Ab Initio tools Hands-on experience with Python for data engineering tasks Experience working with Oracle or other relational databases Proven expertise in performance tuning and optimization Strong understanding of data modeling concepts Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies Basic awareness or working knowledge of AI tools and technologies Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows usin g Ab Initio (GDE, Co-Operating System, and EME) Develop and implemen t conductors, vectors, and metaprogramming techniques Work o n PDL, resource pool management, and dynamic lookups Build scalable data pipelines usin g Pyth on for data processing and automation Perfor m data modeling, database design, and performance tuning Work extensively with large datasets i n Oracle or other relational databases Optimiz e Ab Initio grap hs for performance and efficiency Conduc t code revie ws, enforce best practices, and ensure high-quality deliverables Collaborate wit h business stakeholde rs to understand and translate data requirements Troubleshoo t production issu es and implement long-term solutions Provid e technical leadership and mentorsh ip to junior developers Ensure adherence t o data governance, security, and compliance standards
