Estimator Plumbing / HVAC

Job Description Job Description Salary: 60k - 100k SUMMARY Stewart Mechanical is looking to hire an experienced Plumbing and HVAC estimator with design-build knowledge and a commercial Plumbing and or HVAC background who will bid and win projects, experienced enough to estimate an accurate assessment of the project requirements while keeping the professional culture. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Review project specifications and drawings. Generate accurate takeoffs using computer software estimating programs.

Thorough knowledge of Plumbing and Pipefitting systems is required. Manage bid invitations. Prepare plumbing budgets.

Manage multiple bids at the same time. Send out bid invitations to vendors and subcontractors. Review their bids for accuracy and completeness.

Assemble full estimate for review by chief estimator. Write proposal letters. Capable of offering value engineering ideas.

Education High School Diploma (or equivalent) Software certification for estimating Qualifications 5+ years of commercial plumbingestimating experience. Great verbal and written communication skills. Skills Great attention to detail Experience reading plans and specifications Solve problems effectively Visualize concepts effectively Microsoft Office Great verbal and written communication skills.
