Estimation Engineer

Estimation Engineer – Façade Location - Mumbai Key Responsibilities :Study tender documents, drawings, specifications, and BOQs .Prepare quantity take-offs for façade, glazing, aluminum windows, doors, curtain walls, and cladding systems .Estimate material, labor, and subcontractor costs .Obtain quotations from suppliers and vendors .Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and bid proposals .Analyze project requirements and identify cost-saving opportunities .Coordinate with design, procurement, and project teams .Prepare tender submissions and technical-commercial proposals .Maintain estimation databases and historical cost records .Support project handover after award .Required Skills :Knowledge of façade systems, curtain walls, glazing, ACP cladding, aluminum windows, and doors .Ability to read architectural and structural drawings .Quantity surveying and BOQ preparation .Cost estimation and budgeting .Proficiency in Excel and AutoCAD .Knowledge of ERP/software such as SAP, Primavera, or estimation tools is an advantage .Qualifications :B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil, Mechanical, or related field .2–8 years of experience in façade, glazing, aluminum window, or construction estimation .Common Interview Topics :Quantity take-off for curtain wall and window systems .Glass and aluminum calculations .Material wastage calculations .BOQ preparation .Costing and vendor comparison .Tendering process .
