Job Description
ERP Business Process Modeller - £550 per day
Location: London
Contract: 6 months+
Rate: £550 per day Outside IR35
We are looking for an experienced ERP Business Process Modeller/Business Analyst to join a major global transformation programme focused on consolidating a large ERP estate across 14 countries.
The client is transitioning from Microsoft Navision, paper-based and manual processes to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O). The key focus of this role will be business process design and delivery, particularly across the Order-to-Cash (O2C) life cycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and model the end-to-end Order-to-Cash business process, from customer order through fulfilment, invoicing, payment and reconciliation.
- Map and document current-state (As-Is) and future-state (To-Be) processes, identifying gaps, inefficiencies, risks and opportunities for standardisation.
- Work with business stakeholders across 14 countries to understand local variations and define a globally aligned process model.
- Translate business requirements into clear functional requirements, user stories, process flows, business rules and acceptance criteria.
- Perform the role of a Business Analyst through to delivery, supporting design, solution validation, testing, UAT and implementation.
- Facilitate workshops with Finance, Sales, Operations, Supply Chain and other business functions to drive agreement on future processes.
- Identify opportunities to remove manual/paper-based activities, simplify processes and maximise the benefits of ERP standardisation.
- Work closely with solution architects, functional consultants, developers and project teams to ensure the agreed business processes are effectively translated into the ERP solution.
- Support process governance, documentation, change impact assessments, data requirements and operational readiness throughout the programme.
- Contribute to the wider Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations transformation, including requirements management, process design, testing and stakeholder engagement.
About You
We are particularly interested in candidates with a strong business process modelling and broader Business Analysis background. Direct ERP experience is useful but not essential; the ability to understand complex business processes, challenge existing ways of working and design effective future-state processes is more important.
You will ideally have:
- Strong experience as a Business Analyst, Business Process Analyst, Process Modeller or Business Process Consultant.
- Demonstrable experience designing and documenting end-to-end business processes, particularly Order-to-Cash.
- Experience working on large-scale transformation, operating model or process improvement programmes.
- Excellent workshop facilitation and stakeholder-management skills.
- Experience producing As-Is/To-Be process maps, requirements, functional specifications and business process documentation.
- A structured, analytical approach with the confidence to challenge existing processes and recommend improvements.
- Experience working across multiple countries, business units or complex global organisations.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O or other ERP platforms would be advantageous, but is not the primary requirement.
This is an excellent opportunity for a strong Business Process Modeller/BA to play a key role in a major global ERP transformation, shaping the future Order-to-Cash process across 14 countries.
