Equipment Technician
Longford | Onsite | 12-Month Contract | 33% Shift Premium
Looking for a hands‑on technical role?
We're seeking a practical, mechanically and electrically minded technician to support automated manufacturing equipment within a fast‑paced production environment.
This role would suit someone who enjoys being on the production floor, solving equipment issues, carrying out setups and changeovers, and working directly with manufacturing systems rather than managing projects or people.
You’ll become part of a team responsible for keeping production equipment operating safely, reliably and efficiently.

- Like fault‑finding and solving technical problems
- Enjoy understanding how equipment works and getting it back running
- Are comfortable in a manufacturing environment
- Want to develop your automation and troubleshooting skills
What You’ll Be Doing
- Responding to equipment breakdowns and technical issues
- Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical and automation‑related faults
- Performing machine setups and product changeovers
- Supporting routine maintenance activities
- Adjusting equipment to improve reliability and performance
- Working closely with Production and Engineering teams to minimise downtime
- Supporting introduction of new automated equipment and technologies
- Completing technical documentation in line with site procedures
