Our client, is in the electroplating industry is seeking a Engineering Manufacturing Manager to join their team. As a Engineering Manufacturing Manager, you will be part of the Plating and Manufacturing department. The ideal candidate will have cross functional experience, process improvement experience and experience working in a small company, less than 100 employees, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Engineering Manufacturing Manager Location: Palo Alto, CA Pay Range: $160,000 - $220,000 What’s the Job? Oversee 40+ direct and indirect reports Train, Mentor, and develop team members On the floor most of the time Oversee and support electroplating operations, including troubleshooting bath chemistry, equipment, and process issues Improve throughput, reduce rework, and increase overall yield What’s Needed? 7+ years of hands‑on experience in plating, machining, or manufacturing Strong working knowledge of electroplating processes and shop operations Proven experience in a lead or supervisory role managing teams on the production floor Ability to troubleshoot equipment, processes, and quality issues in real time Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies What’s in it for me?
