Engineering Manager/Head of Engineering

Blue Wolf Digital is partnering with a growing AI firm to find a number of Deployment Strategists -- one of the three core roles (alongside AI Strategy and Forward Deployed Engineering) driving their enterprise AI delivery model.

This kind of role typically suits someone who's currently in a partially hands-on Engineering Manager or Head of Engineering role.

This isn't a supporting role. You'll be paired with an AI Strategist to run an account end-to-end - no PMs, no account coordinators, no layers between you and the customer. Together with two Forward Deployed Engineers, you\'ll form a four-person unit responsible for turning AI strategy into live, working enterprise deployments.

What you\'ll own:

• Delivery of committed outcomes inside the account
• Stakeholder trust and executive alignment, day to day
• Translating messy organisational problems into executable AI initiatives
• Driving AI systems into reliable production environments

What you\'ll bring:

• Strong grasp of modern AI systems and where they create real enterprise value
• Comfort operating directly with engineering and business stakeholders
• High ownership and judgment in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
• Technical depth to guide solution design and make pragmatic trade-offs
• Polished communication across technical and executive audiences
