Role Overview We are looking for a hands-on Engineering Manager with a strong foundation in Artificial Intelligence and modern software architecture who can operate at the intersection of technical leadership and people management. This role is ideal for a high-potential engineer transitioning into engineering leadership or a recently promoted Engineering Manager who continues to actively code, design systems, and drive architectural decisions.

You will lead a small, high-impact engineering team while contributing directly to building AI-powered product capabilities. What You’ll Do Lead and mentor a team of engineers while remaining actively involved in coding and technical problem-solving Design and own scalable system architecture and solution design decisions Drive development of AI-powered product capabilities and platform components Participate in architecture discussions, design reviews, and technical strategy Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and QA teams to deliver high-quality releases Establish strong engineering practices around system design, code quality, and delivery excellence Contribute hands-on to critical backend and AI system development Foster a culture of ownership, experimentation, and continuous learning What We’re Looking For 7–8 years of software engineering experience with ~1 year as an Engineering Manager (first-time EMs welcome) Product/startup environment experience preferred Strong hands-on experience in AI/ML (mandatory), with exposure to LLMs/Generative AI in production Solid system design and architecture fundamentals with ownership of technical decisions Actively coding with recent development contributions (GitHub/open-source is a plus) Ability to operate at an Architect + Manager level, driving design reviews and technical direction Strong problem-solving mindset with leadership through influence Why Join Testsigma Competitive salary + bonus Flexible work environment 100% company-paid medical insurance Flat hierarchy with high ownership Opportunity to build AI-first developer products at scale Who Will Thrive Here Engineers who enjoy coding, solving architectural challenges, owning impact, and growing into leadership roles in a fast-paced environment.
