Base pay range: $250,000 – $315,000 per year. About the Role As part of the Infrastructure Engineering team and a people leader, you will ensure the health, stability, and reliability of Rokt's critical cloud infrastructure while driving the growth and performance of the engineers who support it. Responsibilities Drive strategic initiatives that harden our infrastructure while balancing cost and speed.

Champion operational excellence by refining monitoring, alerting, and CI/CD pipelines, and by running high‑quality post‑incident reviews that convert learnings into preventative actions. Develop people and process through structured mentorship, pairing, technical design reviews, and by leading knowledge‑sharing sessions that raise the engineering bar across the org. Represent Production Engineering in cross‑functional forums—partnering with Product, Security, and Data teams to align roadmaps, negotiate trade‑offs, and ensure client success.

Requirements 7+ years of engineering experience (5+ in SRE) including 2+ years in a formal or informal leadership or people‑management role. Deep expertise with container orchestration (EKS or similar): deployment, scaling, policy enforcement, and day‑two operations. Strong background in real‑time event streaming and distributed systems (Kafka, Pulsar, SNS/SQS) at multi‑region scale.

Lead from the front—you’re not afraid to get hands‑on with the tech or dive deep to unblock and empower the team. Demonstrated success hiring, coaching, and conducting performance reviews, using data and clear criteria to drive career progression and team effectiveness. Excellent communicator—able to articulate complex technical trade‑offs to executives, cross‑functional partners, and customers, both verbally and in writing.

Target Total Compensation $375,000 – $515,000 per year, including a fixed annual salary of $250,000 – $315,000, an employee equity plan grant, and world‑class benefits. Benefits Equity: Every employee receives equity in the company. Catered lunch every day and healthy snacks in the office.
