Engineering Manager

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing, cross-functional engineering team. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone who enjoys balancing technical contribution with team leadership (spending roughly 20% of their time coding and the remainder driving delivery, coaching engineers, and collaborating closely with Product). What You’ll Do Delivery Leadership Own end-to-end delivery of engineering initiatives, from planning through to release Manage backlogs, plan sprints, and ensure consistent, high-quality delivery Remove blockers and drive accountability across the team Lead, mentor, and grow a team of engineers Foster a culture of continuous learning, inclusion, and engineering excellence Support performance management and career progression Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner closely with Product and other stakeholders to translate priorities into technical execution Communicate clearly on progress, risks, and trade-offs Proactively drive solutions and improvements Contribute to complex technical challenges and critical code paths Conduct code reviews and uphold engineering standards and best practices Lead by example with high-quality, maintainable code DevOps & Infrastructure Champion strong DevOps practices including CI/CD, automated testing, and cloud infrastructure Ensure systems are scalable, secure, and cost-efficient Encourage experimentation and pragmatic adoption of new technologies Security & Compliance Embed security best practices across development processes Support compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001) What We’re Looking For Proven experience leading and developing engineering teams Strong track record of delivering software end-to-end in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders A delivery-focused mindset with ownership and accountability Solid experience with DevOps practices (CI/CD, automated testing, cloud infrastructure- AWS preferred) Strong hands-on experience withPython Comfortable contributing to architecture and writing production-level code A proactive, collaborative approach to working with Product teams Interest in and openness to AI-driven development tools and workflows Nice to Have Experience with AI/ML concepts, prompt engineering, or emerging AI development practices Frontend development experience (e.g., Vue.js or similar frameworks) Knowledge of serverless architectures and modern cloud patterns Background in high-growth or SaaS environments Familiarity with product-led development and UX principles Experience working with text analytics or data-driven platforms Why Join?
