Engineering and facilities manager

We’re Hiring: Maintenance & Facilities Engineering Manager (Manufacturing) We’re looking for an experienced Maintenance & Facilities Engineering Manager to lead the installation, commissioning, and ongoing performance of production equipment within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a key role responsible for ensuring operational excellence, equipment reliability, and compliance across a growing and dynamic business. What you’ll be doing: Lead the installation and commissioning of new production equipment and supporting infrastructure Manage the maintenance and reliability of plant, machinery, and site services Develop and implement a robust Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) strategy Oversee contractors on-site, ensuring compliance with RAMS, permits, and H&S standards Drive systems for calibration, inspection, and equipment compliance Ensure high standards of cleanliness and product integrity (e.g. detection systems) Take ownership of site security systems aligned with wider business strategy Ensure all statutory inspections are completed and actions closed out Act as the primary escalation point for production-related emergencies Lead or support continuous improvement and special projects What we’re looking for: ~4+ years’ experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment Strong hands-on mechanical and electrical knowledge Experience managing multi-skilled engineers and external contractors Knowledge of Health, Safety & Environmental legislation Proven ability in maintenance planning, budgeting, and risk management Familiarity with high-volume / high-speed manufacturing (injection moulding desirable) Strong problem-solving and communication skills A proactive, team-oriented mindset with the ability to meet deadlines Full driving licence and willingness to travel between sites
